Where do you buy misteltoe? That’s a common question. There are several places you can go to buy mistletoe for Christmas. The real question is who do you want to be caught with under the mistletoe once you buy it!
Buying Mistletoe Online:
There are a few sites out there where you can buy quality mistletoe on the internet. The best site is misteltoe.com (wink, wink – we’re not just saying that becuase it’s our sister site). Mistletoe.com has the largest variety of products and the best quality. You can’t go wrong with mistletoe.com. If you’re looking for one mistletoe sprig or a mistletoe gift box, its the perfect place to go. They have a variety of gift options, sizes and even offer a very beautiful mistletoe and holly sprig that features a English Green Holly with red berries, overlaid with real mistletoe. They also offer bulk mistletoe in large and small boxes, bulk green holly and variegated holly. It’s really a great place to buy mistletoe and holly for Christmas.
Super Stores
OK, so I don’t actually recommend this, but you can sometimes find preserved (or dried out and shrivelled) mistletoe in superstores on a rack. It isn’t as nice as fresh mistletoe, but I suppose you could buy it and it’d do the trick. You could… but, uh… I wouldn’t. 
Local Flower Shops
Sometimes, if you’re lucky you can find a flower shop that will have mistletoe in stock during the holidays. Most don’t but some do. I’ve heard of a lot of people looking around and calling flower shops during the holidays, but none have it. Occasionally someone says they found it and were able to buy mistletoe locally. I’m sure it all depends on what region you live in.
In the Woods
If you’re the adventurous type, you could take a trek to the woods and see if you can find some yourself. It’s usually high up in Oak trees of other hardwoods. You may have been seeing it all along, but never noticed it. Be careful though, climbing trees is asking for it. Many people have been known to shoot it down with a shotgun, though, the neighbors don’t usually like that. Plus you’ll shoot it full of holes. Unless it’s easy to reach, it’s just as well you find it online or from someone else.
